Maturing in 110?115 days, this cold-tolerant variety thrives in cooler, northern regions and can be direct sown or started indoors 8?10 weeks before your last frost. Ideal for raised beds, greenhouses, or garden plots, it reaches 14?24 inches tall and prefers well-drained, sandy soil enriched with nitrogen. This Utah State-recommended cultivar produces bulbs up to 6" wide and is excellent for slicing, grilling, canning, or using fresh. Onions are ready to harvest once greens yellow and fall.
