How to Germinate Your Seeds in 5 Easy Steps

For over 30 years Pepper Joe’s has found, grown, and enjoyed hot peppers from all over the world. We were one of the first to offer original Carolina Reaper seeds and we're always adding new varieties to our collection.

All of our seeds are harvested by hand and examined for quality. Then, a portion of each new seed stock is tested to ensure high germination rates and true-to-form grow results.

1. Pour water in the bottom of a seed germination tray until you have about ¼-inch of standing water.

2. Fill seed starting tray with seed starting soil all the way to the top.

3. Use a #2 pencil eraser to make a ¼-inch hole in the center of each seed starting cell.

4. Place 3 to 4 seeds in each cell and cover gently with soil.

5. Apply seedling heat mat under the tray and cover the top with humidity trapping dome.
