Target Moth Eggs & Caterpillars Indoors & Outdoors
NaturesGoodGuys Trichogramma (Trichogramma brassicae and Trichogramma platneri/minutum) are tiny parasitoids known for their ability to parasitize eggs of various pest insects, particularly moth eggs and caterpillars. Measuring only about 0.5-1.5mm in length, they are hard to see without magnification. They can be used indoors or outdoors. The eggs can take 7-14 days to hatch at 70 DF or higher. The warmer the temperatures the faster they will hatch, the colder the temperatures the slower they will hatch. Once the eggs hatch, they will not change in appearance or disappear from the cards. Because they are so tiny, they will look the same to the naked eye as when you first received them. However, if you use a magnifying glass or microscope, you may notice changes more clearly. The eggs may have a tiny pinhole in them or appear shriveled, similar to deflated balloons.
