How To Use: New Container Plantings
Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals can be used for indoor and outdoor plants to help reduce water stress to protect them from heat and drought. When the Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals are mixed with your potting soil, they will swell to absorb the water so your plants receive the right amount they need to thrive.
Be sure to leave 2 - 3 inches from top of container.
Mix Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals thoroughly into the soil. See product label for amount to apply.
Place your plant on soil and fill in the remaining space with potting soil being sure to leave a 1-inch gap from the top of the container. Then water your plants thoroughly.
How To Use: Existing Containers.
To add to your existing container plants, you’ll need to make several holes in the soil (with a stick or pencil) evenly spaced around the plant. Make sure to avoid the root area. The amount of Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals you add depends on the size of your container. See product label for more details.
How To Use: In Ground.
You can also add Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals to your in-ground plants. Work the Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals evenly into the soil throughout the root zone at a rate of 7 teaspoons per 6-foot row.
