The Right Mix Matters

Potting mix for pots.

Garden soil for beds.

Match the Mix to Your Space

Use a pot with drain holes. Proper drainage prevents root rot and keeps plants healthy.

Leave room at the rim for watering. This prevents overflow and gives roots space to establish.

Gently loosen root ball and set plant at nursery depth. This helps roots spread into fresh mix.

Fill around plant, press lightly. Water thoroughly until it drains from bottom?never let pots sit in water.

For containers, use potting mix. Our fast-draining mix supports healthy roots in planters, hanging baskets, and pots of all sizes.

For beds, use garden soil. In-ground planting requires denser soil formulated to enrich native earth.
