Product description
Eretz Dundale Field Peas are known for being drought tolerant and highly adaptable to a wide range of soils. Excellent for use as a cover crop, in garden or growth plots, in wildlife plots, as green chop, as erosion control, and squelching unwanted growth. Strong nitrogen affixent and adds fertile matter back into the soil. These peas do very well when planted with a cereal crop. Though they may not winter over well in extreme weather conditions, these peas are hardy and will take some late or early frosts. May be planted in early Spring or in the Fall (for less extreme climates).
These can be sowed before frost is over, as soon as the ground is workable (February and March in many areas) and will tolerate a light or medium frost.
