This package includes 15 white pod caps only. It does not include grow cubes, yPods/yCubes, seeds, plants, grow media, nutrients, or the Gardyn tower system.
Where should these pod caps be used?
These pod caps are designed to cover the top of the grow yCube/yPod, not the tower planting hole by themselves. For proper use, place the cap on the grow cube first, then insert the full assembly into the tower.
What is the purpose of using pod caps?
Pod caps help cover the grow cube surface to reduce light exposure and create a cleaner finished look. Gardyn’s own yCovers are described as fitting on yCubes to block light and help prevent unwanted growth on the yCube surface.
Are these the same as Gardyn Caps for empty tower slots?
No. Gardyn Caps are designed to fit into empty tower slots without a yPod, but these pod caps are intended to sit on top of a grow yCube/yPod. If you are covering an empty tower opening with no yPod inserted, you need an empty-slot cap style instead.
Are the pod caps reusable and easy to clean?
Yes. These white PETG pod caps are reusable and made for repeated indoor hydroponic use. Rinse by hand with water and allow them to dry before reuse. Do not put 3D-printed PETG parts in the dishwasher.
